Kitschen DIM SUM BAR _Tasting & Entrepreneurship

On December 18, 2025, second-year students of the Bachelor in Hospitality Management Programme at LEMONDE College visited Kitschen Dim Sum Bar as part of the module From Ideation to Feasible Business, facilitated by Barbara Rentzou, gaining valuable insight into the realities of entrepreneurship within the food and beverage industry.

During the visit, students had the opportunity not only to enjoy the restaurant’s unique food and beverage offerings, but also to engage in an inspiring discussion with the chef-owner Dimitris Liem , a graduate of the LEMONDE Culinary Programme, about his entrepreneurial journey and the process of building his own business.

The discussion focused on the transition from idea to implementation, the importance of creativity and authenticity in hospitality ventures, and the operational and strategic decisions involved in developing a successful dining concept in today’s competitive market.

Through this experiential learning opportunity, students were able to connect classroom theory with real-world business practice, gaining a deeper understanding of innovation, branding, customer experience, and entrepreneurship in the hospitality industry.
