Educational visit ATHENS CAPITAL HOTEL – MGALLERY Collection
On March 17, first-year students of the Bachelor in Hospitality Management Programme at LEMONDE College participated in an educational visit to Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery Collection, accompanied by the Programme Coordinator, Barbara Rentzou, as part of their ongoing exposure to the contemporary hospitality industry and the practical application of classroom learning.
The students were welcomed and guided through the hotel by Stavros Kalogerakos, the hotel’s Leisure Sales Manager and a graduate of LE MONDE Hotel Management programme, who shared valuable insights and experiences from his professional journey in the hospitality sector.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn more about the philosophy of the hotel group, the vision and legacy of the Laskaridis family, and the importance of authentic Greek hospitality in shaping exceptional guest experiences.
The tour included standard room categories and suites, visits to the wellness and fitness facilities, as well as the hotel’s impressive rooftop area, offering students a comprehensive understanding of the operations, aesthetics, and service standards of a modern luxury hotel in the heart of Athens.
The experience proved to be both inspiring and educational for our students, highlighting the dynamic nature and career opportunities of the hospitality industry while strengthening the connection between academic studies and industry practice.
