International Distinction for LE MONDE College Students at the Final Conference of the European Programme HyPro4ST

From May 14th to 16th, 2025, the final conference of the European Programme HyPro4ST was held in Palermo, Italy, with the participation of the Corinthia Hoteliers’ Association—one of the 17 official project partners. The Association was represented by Dr. Sofia Filippidi, its President and a faculty member at LE MONDE College, with longstanding expertise in tourism and a strong academic background in sustainable development.
HyPro4ST focuses on hybrid project management in the field of sustainable tourism, introducing an innovative educational framework for the development of a new professional profile: the “Sustainable and Hybrid Project Manager.” Through the combination of green and digital transition, the project addresses skill gaps in the tourism labour market, emphasizing sustainability, hybrid methodologies, digital tools, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
Thanks to their excellence, they received official certification and proudly represented the next generation of Greek tourism professionals at the final conference in Palermo.
They were joined by tourism professional Katerina Papaiοannou, who also earned a top score, showcasing the success of collaboration between educational institutions, industry stakeholders, and tourism experts.
The students’ remarkable achievement and the active contribution of Dr. Sofia Filippidi underscore the academic strength of LE MONDE College and the ability of its Bachelor Programme to cultivate professionals with global orientation and future-ready skills.
